LALIGA has sent its weekly report of complaints to the RFEF Competition Committee and the State Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport, flagging 10 offensive chants during Valencia’s match with Real Madrid.
According to Superdeporte, the chants were sung in unison by home supporters in the Gol Sur / Grada Mario Alberto Kempes, at various points in the game, each lasting roughly eight to 20 seconds. The report notes repeated insults towards Real Madrid, targeted abuse of specific individuals, and demeaning expressions.
The incidents began in the first minute and the 12th, resurfaced in the 27th, then two longer episodes followed in the 42nd and 44th minutes. Further chants were recorded in the 52nd and 54th minutes.
The 55th minute featured an insult directed at Kylian Mbappé, the 58th at Álvaro Arbeloa, before another anti-Madrid chant in the 66th minute.
Such conduct is expressly prohibited by the RFEF Disciplinary Code and the specific legislation against violence, racism, xenophobia and intolerance in sport. Once the competent bodies review the case, possible sanctions could follow.
