Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has on Saturday etched his name yet further into the history books of European football.
This comes after the youngster found the net in the Blaugrana’s latest outing.
Hansi Flick’s troops were back in La Liga action a short time ago, welcoming RCD Mallorca to the Spotify Camp Nou with sights on extending their advantage atop the table.
And when all was said and done, this is precisely what Barcelona managed, by three goals to nil.
Robert Lewandowski was responsible for opening the scoring, before Marc Bernal rounded things out late on.
The highlight of the clash, though, came in the form of Lamine Yamal’s sumptuous left-footed strike from distance on the hour mark.
This made it five games on the bounce with a goal for the Spanish international.
Not only that, but it also saw Lamine make history.
As revealed by statisticians Opta:
‘Lamine Yamal has scored 24 goals in 92 LaLiga appearances, the most by a player under the age of 19 in Europe’s top five leagues in the 21st century, surpassing Kylian Mbappé (23 goals).’
