Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has sparked concerns across all of Spain on Wednesday evening.

This comes after the 18-year-old suffered an injury blow.

Barcelona are locked in action at present, hopeful of restoring their nine-point lead atop the table in a La Liga meeting with Celta Vigo.

Lamine for his part featured from the off in the fixture, and as things stand represents the difference-maker when it comes to the scoreline.

The winger was responsible for slotting home from the penalty spot late in the first-half.

In the process, however, Lamine picked up an injury, going to ground before limping straight down the tunnel at the Spotify Camp Nou.

And if early reports are anything to go by, then the word stemming from the Barcelona dressing room regarding the young attacker is far from positive…

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:

‘Initial examinations suggest a hamstring tear, which would rule him out of La Liga and put his participation in the start of the World Cup in jeopardy.’

A further update on the situation is expected on Thursday, upon Lamine undergoing a round of medical tests and scans.
