Lazio are reportedly keeping tabs on Famalicao youngster Gustavo Sá. They would like to add the Portuguese to an increasingly younger squad that includes the likes of Loum Tchaouna, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Gustav Isaksen, Nicolo Rovella and Christos Mandas

The 19-year-old is an attacking midfielder who started his career at Porto before making the move to Famalicao in 2018. After climbing his way up the club’s youth ranks, he became a member of the senior squad in 2022, and has thus far made more than 60 appearances for the first team.

Lazio Following Gustavo Sá

According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, the Biancocelesti are closely following the teenager who is valued at circa €8-10 million. While a January transfer remains unlikely, Lazio could be working to set the stage for a summer switch. The source identifies the young player as the possible heir to Luis Alberto, although he has a bigger frame (189 cm).

Sá currently plays for Portugal U-21, but he could soon make his senior debut for the Selecao, as Roberto Martinez confirmed he and his staff are closely monitoring him. This season, the Póvoa de Varzim native has thus far made eight appearances in the Portuguese league, contributing with a single goal and an assist in the process.
