Lazio sign Przyborek as Romagnoli’s Al-Sadd switch stalls amid Sarri stance

Lazio have completed the signing of Adrian Przyborek, while Alessio Romagnoli’s proposed move to Al-Sadd has stalled.

With the transfer window in Qatar closing this evening, Sky Sport Italia reports there is not enough time to finalise the deal, and transfer journalist Matteo Moretto claims Maurizio Sarri was key to blocking the sale.

Przyborek arrives from Pogon Szczecin for €4.5m plus €2m in add-ons, along with a 20 per cent sell-on. The versatile creative midfielder turned 19 this month.

Romagnoli, a lifelong Aquile supporter, had been pushing to leave. It remains unclear how he will respond to the collapsed move.
