Lazio are leaning towards a summer sale of Mario Gila, with a Premier League move, particularly Bournemouth, preferred to Milan or Inter. The 25-year-old has also attracted interest from Atletico Madrid and AC Milan.

Il Messaggero reports that Inter are leading the chase after progress in talks with his agent, Alejandro Camano, who also represents Lautaro Martinez. The report adds Inter are considering waiting to sign him as a free agent in summer 2027, a prospect Lazio want to avoid.

Lazio intend to make one last attempt to renew his contract. That would require a substantial rise, as he is among the club’s lowest earners, on a net salary below €1 million and a gross €1.6 million.

If no agreement is found, Plan B is a sale in the summer, with England prioritised. Bournemouth are among several admirers, having signed Christos Mandas from Lazio in January.

Leicester City are also in the frame, though their fight to avoid relegation from the Championship to League One makes it an unlikely destination for the Spanish international.
