Lazio will be looking to confirm their positive form when they host Cremonese in their final home fixture of 2025.
The Serie A clash between Lazio and Cremonese kicks off at 18:00 local time on Saturday, December 20, at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

Although they still sit in a modest 8th place in the table, Lazio have truly overcome what was a disastrous start to the season, when they only collected three points in the first four midweeks. In their last 12 matches across all competitions, the Biancocelesti have only lost twice, both ensuing at San Siro, at the hands of Scudetto contenders Inter and AC Milan.
Lazio’s positive run includes a Serie A victory over Juventus, a Coppa Italia win at the expense of AC Milan, while their most recent act was a surreal league win over Parma, by snatching a late winner after being reduced to nine men.
Davide Nicola is known first and foremost for his ability to pull off miraculous escapes from the claws of relegation. But this time, he has outdone himself, as the newly-promoted Cremonese aren’t even taking part in the relegation scrap, at least for now.
The Griggiorossi have exceeded all expectations with their superb start to the season, as they currently sit 11th in the table. The Lombardians are coming from a loss on the road to Torino, but they had prevailed in the previous two contests at the expense of Lecce at home and Bologna at the Renato Dall’Ara.
Lazio (4-3-3): Provedel; Marusic, Gila, Romagnoli, Pellegrini; Guendouzi, Cataldi, Vecino; Cancellieri, Castellanos, Noslin.
Cremonese (3-5-2): Audero; Terraciano, Baschirotto, Bianchetti; Barbieri, Grassi, Bondo, Vandeputte, Pezzella; Bonazzoli, Vardy.
With Jamie Vardy and Federico Bonazzoli both being prolific this season, Ivan Provedel might find it hard to raise his seasonal tally to nine clean sheets. Nevertheless, Lazio should have enough quality to score at least twice at home, even with Mattia Zaccagni and Toma Basic serving bans.
