Leandro Trossard leaves Arsenal to join Besiktas in €20m deal | OneFootball

Leandro Trossard has left Arsenal to join Besiktas in a deal worth about €20 million. The 31-year-old forward returns from the World Cup with Belgium to start a new chapter in Türkiye.

Arsenal said on Tuesday that the Belgian has signed for the Istanbul club. He is expected in the city shortly to undergo a medical, and has already been pictured holding a Besiktas shirt on social media.

Trossard spent three and a half seasons with Arsenal, making 174 appearances and recording 37 goals and 31 assists.

He joined the Gunners in January 2023 from Brighton, where he also spent three and a half years.

After playing in Belgium and England, the Belgium international, capped 57 times with 14 goals, will now compete in a third league.
