Leeds United are monitoring Switzerland’s meeting with Norway after Noah Okafor sustained a knock that left his involvement uncertain.

Neue Zürcher Zeitung claims the Leeds winger was due to feature against Germany on Friday, only to be hurt in the warm-up.

The 25-year-old received his first Switzerland call-up since November 2024 this month, replacing injured Filip Ugrinić. He had been out of favour amid a strained relationship with Murat Yakin over game time and communication. He only recently returned from a hamstring problem that sidelined him for five Leeds matches in league and cup.

A solid first season at Elland Road put him back in contention, with four Premier League goals in 24 appearances. Against Germany, team-mate Anton Stach played the final 10 minutes for Julian Nagelsmann’s side, while Okafor stayed on the bench.

Team news is due around 5pm. Leeds face West Ham in an FA Cup quarter-final on Sunday, with their league campaign resuming in almost two weeks.

Gabriel Gudmundsson also suffered a knock during the break, the Sweden left-back going off in the play-off win over Ukraine. He later eased fears before facing Poland tonight.

Wales are monitoring Daniel James after he played close to 90 minutes in a play-off defeat to Bosnia & Herzegovina. The 28-year-old only recently returned from a hamstring tendon injury sustained at Manchester City in November.
