Leeds United are set to decide on Harry Gray’s next step amid fresh links to a League One loan. The 17-year-old England youth international is drawing interest ahead of the new campaign.

Alan Nixon reports that Huddersfield Town and Sheffield Wednesday are keen to sign Gray on loan for the forthcoming season.

Gray, younger brother of Tottenham’s former Leeds star Archie, reached the first-team fringes last year and made his debut as a late substitute in April’s 6-0 home win over Stoke City.

He then travelled with the senior squad to Germany for pre-season before the club’s Premier League return, later making the bench for the league trip to Wolves and the EFL Cup tie at Sheffield Wednesday.

To gain senior minutes, he joined Rotherham United on loan in January for the remainder of the season, making 20 appearances with three goals and one assist across 1767 minutes.

Another loan is likely, with the destination still to be decided.
