According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Leeds United's 10 summer 2025 signings have been graded after the 2025/26 campaign, reflecting a mix of hits and misses after a 14th-place finish.
Goalkeeper Lucas Perri, £15.6m, was given a D after excitement faded amid a lack of decisive saves and patchy distribution. He was dropped following two January errors and is now back-up to Karl Darlow.
James Justin earned a B for a strong 2026, starting every Premier League game across several roles after a quiet start. The £10m defender excelled almost everywhere, just shy of an A.
Jaka Bijol took time to settle but received an A, his first league outing arriving in late October. The £15m centre-back thrived once Farke moved to a back three, dominant and composed, with leadership noted.
Sebastiaan Bornauw was marked C, providing competent cover without dislodging the first-choice trio. Leeds did not lose any of his five league starts, the fewest of any 2025 arrival.
Gabriel Gudmundsson earned an A, swiftly addressing left-back. The £10m arrival settled fastest among overseas recruits and played the most minutes, raiding forward regularly but without a goal or assist.
Anton Stach topped the class with an A+, blending physical power and technique in midfield. The £17m signing delivered five goals and three assists and is seen as a strong character with more to come.
Leeds now look set for another busy window to build on last season, with attacking quality likely the priority and extra depth welcome. Recruiters may need to get virtually every major call right, though the hit-rate so far has been impressive.
