Managing director Robbie Evans said he was disappointed to see Eisenberg go but grateful for his impact, adding that top performers often attract outside interest. He recalled first meeting him three years ago and said three seasons later the club is on an excellent trajectory. Evans highlighted Eisenberg's tireless work on the stadium expansion and sent best wishes to him and his family.

Eisenberg said it had been a privilege to work at Leeds United for the past three seasons and that together they had made positive strides towards becoming an established Premier League side. He thanked colleagues behind the scenes and the people of Yorkshire for their welcome.

He also thanked Leeds United's fans worldwide and the club's ownership, saying he will always remain a proud member of the Leeds United family and wishing the club every success.
