According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Leeds United are exploring a move to sign Julian Brandt on a free transfer as they target attacking quality this summer. They finished 14th in the Premier League last season.
The 30-year-old is set to leave Borussia Dortmund this summer after scoring 57 goals and providing 70 assists in 307 matches. He has played more than 380 Bundesliga games and earned 48 caps for Germany.
Brandt also boasts more than 80 Champions League appearances, and his ability to play as a number 10, in central midfield or on either wing would suit Leeds' needs.
Leeds believe they are among several options for the German, with at least one Champions League club interested in him.
His career began at Wolfsburg, then Bayer Leverkusen, before a €25m transfer to Dortmund in 2019.
Leeds are also monitoring Shea Charles this summer. The Northern Ireland midfielder contributed to Southampton's run to the Championship play-offs last season before they were kicked out over Spygate.
