Daniel Farke has delivered a Leeds United fitness update ahead of Saturday evening’s visit of Pep Guardiola’s title-chasing Manchester City, confirming Gabriel Gudmundsson is available while Noah Okafor will miss out.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Farke said Gudmundsson has recovered fully and that Okafor is the only absentee, with the rest of the squad training and ready to feature.
Okafor suffered a hamstring strain at Birmingham City in the FA Cup and sat out last weekend’s trip to Aston Villa.
Gudmundsson was cleared to start at Villa Park but was withdrawn at half-time due to illness.
Dan James returned to the bench at Villa after back issues kept him out of the cup tie a week earlier.
Okafor was predicted to be sidelined for between two and four weeks with the hamstring problem.
