Leeds United conclude their American pre-season against Liverpool in Chicago on Sunday, with big changes predicted, an attacker back in training and a youngster in contention. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, this is how they could set up.

Daniel Farke rotated for Thursday's meeting with Sunderland, when £34m signing Tarik Muharemovic debuted at centre back. Sebastiaan Bornauw also started with Joe Rodon, who wore the armband as club captain Ethan Ampadu was benched. Jaka Bijol missed out with a knee knock.

Anton Stach was among those to drop to the bench, with Ao Tanaka partnering Sean Lonsgstaff in midfield and wing backs Jayden Bogle and the returning Gabi Gudmundsson. Gudmundsson was the latest of Leeds' World Cup players to return, leaving only Brenden Aaronson and Noah Okafor yet to feature. Leeds had said before flying that Okafor, after Switzerland's quarter-final run, would not play in America.

Sunday may offer Aaronson an opportunity and perhaps number nine Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who returned to training on Tuesday after a minor setback. Against Sunderland, Aaronson and Calvert-Lewin sat out as Lukas Nmecha led the line, with Joel Piroe on the bench and support from summer signing Harry Wilson and youngster Callum Mills.

In goal, Alex Cairns is the likely pick unless a youngster is tried, with Lucas Perri likely to leave if James Trafford arrives. Jayden Bogle looks set to continue at right back, with Rodon partnered by the impressive Muharemovic.

Farke used a back three against Sunderland and kept a clean sheet, so the same could follow against Liverpool. With Bijol out, James Justin may join the centre backs in place of Bornauw, while Gudmundsson should remain at left back.
