Leeds United can now plan for a second straight Premier League campaign, with key dates confirmed. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the 2026/27 fixtures will be released at 10am on Friday, June 19, and the season will run from Saturday, August 22 to Sunday, May 30.

Daniel Farke’s side returned to the top flight with a solid 14th-placed finish, eight points clear of danger. Safety was sealed with three matches to spare, and a nine-match unbeaten league run ended only on the final day in a 3-1 defeat at West Ham, who still went down.

The campaign will start one week later than 2025-26, allowing 89 clear days from the end of the current season on Sunday, May 24 and 33 days from the World Cup 2026 final.

All games on the final match round will kick off simultaneously on Sunday, May 30. The season will finish a week before the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday, June 5.

The calendar comprises 33 weekends and five midweek match rounds.

The schedule is set to avoid, where possible, clashes with UEFA club competition dates. Over Christmas and New Year, no two match rounds will be staged within 60 hours, reflecting commitments to ease festive congestion within the expanded international calendar.
