According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Leeds United look set to unveil their 2026/27 away shirt at 8am on Thursday after a social media teaser. The outlet has also ranked the club’s last 15 away designs.
The club’s official X account posted a short video on Wednesday showing five people walking through the countryside, the front figure twirling a scarf. It ends with a 1990s-style Leeds crest and the Adidas trefoil, both expected to appear on next season’s away top.
Recent efforts have largely landed with supporters, though previous seasons served up a few outliers. Some shirts are tied to big moments, others have slipped from memory.
Ranked 15th, 2022/23 drew criticism for its unusual pattern and non-traditional colours, and it was worn in the relegation season. In 14th, 2013/14’s gold never felt Leeds. At 13th, 2014/15’s buttoned collar added polish, but navy did not feel like a club colour.
Placed 12th, Kappa’s 2017/18 all-black set looked sharp with side logos, yet it did not feel Leeds. In 11th, the first away shirt of the Marcelo Bielsa era resembled training wear, with a more classic yellow third preferred that year. Ranked 10th, the first Adidas shirt nodded to the 1990s green stripes without the same retro punch, though it framed Patrick Bamford’s hat-trick at Aston Villa.
