Leeds United's first match at Elland Road lands on Leeds Festival weekend | OneFootball

Leeds United’s first Elland Road fixture of 2026/27 is set for the August Bank Holiday weekend, coinciding with Leeds Festival.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, fixtures for their second Premier League season under Daniel Farke were released this morning, with the campaign starting at Nottingham Forest on August 22.

Brentford visit Elland Road on Saturday August 29, as thousands head to Bramham Park for the third day of Leeds Festival.

Broadcast selections are still to be confirmed, so the match could be moved to Friday August 28, Sunday August 30 or Monday August 31.

Leeds Festival runs from Thursday August 27 to Monday August 31. Significant traffic delays, particularly on the A1(M) and A64, are expected across the weekend.
