Leicester City’s 2026/27 League One fixtures released, Notts County first up | OneFootball

Leicester City will kick off the 2026/27 League One campaign at Notts County on Saturday August 15, 12.30pm, before hosting Burton Albion a week later.

According to LeicesterMercury.co.uk, Russell Martin’s side then visit MK Dons, the manager’s former club, before back-to-back home games against Plymouth Argyle and Oxford United.

Boxing Day brings AFC Wimbledon to the King Power, then an away trip to Richie Wellens’ Leyton Orient on December 29, with Wycombe Wanderers away on New Year’s Day.

The longest journey, Plymouth away, is scheduled for Tuesday February 9 at 7.45pm. City also make a first visit to Bromley’s Hayes Lane in October and go to Cambridge United on Tuesday December 1.

The reverse fixture with Notts County is at the King Power on March 6. The run-in includes Leyton Orient at home on April 3 and a final-day meeting with Cambridge United on May 8 at 12.30pm.

The Carabao Cup first round is slated for Saturday August 7, with the second round in the week commencing August 24 and third round across early and mid September. The FA Cup first and second rounds fall on November 7 and December 5, with the third round on Saturday January 9 if City are involved.
