Leicester midfielder Henry Cartwright joins League One Bradford City in permanent move | OneFootball

Henry Cartwright has left Leicester City to join Sky Bet League One side Bradford City on a permanent deal. The club said in a statement that the move is for an undisclosed fee and is subject to league approval.

Leicester exercised an option to extend the midfielder’s contract by a year this summer, and he trained with the first team at Seagrave this week.

The 21-year-old came through the academy from Under-9s, bringing a 13-year association to a close. He has yet to make a senior appearance, and was on the bench for the 4-0 defeat over Newcastle United in December 2024.

Cartwright spent last season on loan at Scottish Premiership side Falkirk.

He offered thanks for the guidance he received and will treasure the memories from his time at Leicester as he begins the next stage of his career.
