RB Leipzig were left to rue fine margins after a narrow Bundesliga defeat at Stuttgart, with captain Willi Orbán and David Raum reflecting on chances that went untaken.

According to BuLi News, both sides carved openings in a high-level contest, but a decisive error led to the hosts' winner and Leipzig could not turn strong spells into goals.

Orbán called it a tight meeting between two top teams, saying it was enjoyable but frustrating that Leipzig did not capitalise on their best passages.

Raum echoed that view. "In top games, small details and sometimes a bit of luck decide things," he said. "Matches like this often end in a draw." He stressed he would not blame the player involved in the decisive mistake and felt Leipzig failed to reward themselves.

"I haven’t really thought about the Germany squad announcement yet," he said. "We’re in a very hot phase of the season and that’s where my focus is." "I just try to stay fit. If I get nominated, of course I’ll be happy."

Asked about his future, Orbán said he loves playing for Leipzig and saw no urgency, noting he has around one and a half years remaining on his contract and that any decision involves many people.
