RC Lens have been given a major boost ahead of this evening’s visit to the capital to face Paris FC, after Stade Rennais felled Paris Saint-Germain. A victory over PSG’s local rivals would see Lens rise to the top of the table.
However, this match comes at a difficult time for a settled squad. Pierre Sage has been faced with a growing injury crisis in defence, with Jonathan Gradit, Samson Baidoo, and Kyllian Antonio all out injured, while Ruben Aguilar is suspended following his red card last weekend against Rennes.
Sunderland loanee Arthur Masuaku is expected to come into the back three for his league debut. Usually a left-back, Masuaku will likely play on the left of the back three, with Sarr moving into the central role. Saud Abdulhamid will replace Aguilar at right wing-back as a like-for-like replacement.
