According to Coluna Do Fla, Flamengo gave the squad Saturday off during the FIFA window after three training days led by Leonardo Jardim. He oversaw sessions on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, then opted for a rest day.

With Saturday free, players used the pause for physical and mental recovery. No activity was scheduled at Ninho do Urubu, and the squad reports on Sunday morning to resume work.

From Sunday, Jardim has four days to prepare for the next Brasileirão match. The period allows tactical adjustments and a push for greater consistency.

Recent sessions ran without seven players on international duty. Léo Pereira and Danilo are with Brazil for World Cup warm-up friendlies.

Arrascaeta, Varela and De La Cruz are with Uruguay, Carrascal with Colombia, and Plata with Ecuador. The FIFA window runs until Tuesday, so their availability for the next game remains uncertain.

Flamengo visit Red Bull Bragantino on Thursday in the ninth round at Estádio Municipal Cícero de Souza Marques in Bragança Paulista, kick-off 21:30 Brasília time. After drawing with Corinthians, an away win would be important to climb the table.
