Leonardo Jardim salary and deal at Flamengo reported | OneFootball

Flamengo have sacked Filipe Luís and agreed a deal to appoint Leonardo Jardim for the rest of the season, with a salary in line with his predecessor.

According to UOL, Flamengo will pay approximately four million euros net per year to Jardim, around R$ 24 million, which equates to roughly R$ two million a month.

However, the club’s overall spend will be higher because it must cover taxes, lifting the total outlay for Jardim and the backroom staff who have arrived with the Portuguese coach.

Jardim has signed a contract through to the end of the 2027 season, a two-year agreement. He can exit before its conclusion if his release clause is met.

Flamengo face Fluminense at 18:00 Brasília time on Sunday at the Maracanã in the Campeonato Carioca final.
