Lesley Ugochukwu leaves Burnley to join Galatasaray on loan with option to buy | OneFootball

Galatasaray have signed Lesley Ugochukwu on loan from Burnley with an option to buy. The club said in a statement that the deal includes a €3.5 million loan fee and an option worth more than €25 million, to be activated after a set number of matches. It also disclosed a net fixed salary of €2,650,000.

The 22-year-old France Under-21 midfielder, developed at Rennes, arrives after one season with the Clarets.

He has spent three seasons in England, starting at Chelsea after a move worth nearly €30 million, but he did not establish himself.

He was loaned to Southampton in 2024-25, playing 31 matches.

Chelsea then sold him to Burnley last summer for around €30 million. He made 38 appearances in all competitions as Burnley finished 19th in the Premier League and were relegated. He will wear number 18 for the first time in his career.
