Leverkusen linked with promising Norwegian winger | OneFootball

Online news portal ‘Ontheminute’ has learned that Bayer Leverkusen is the latest club to set its sights on Edvin Austbø.

Viking FK knows they're sitting on a goldmine, with the club is reportedly asking for between €25 and €32million for their homegrown talent. 

Leverkusen's scouting department is scouring Europe in search of the next big thing and sees the left winger as a perfect long-term project. 

However, Premier League clubs already showing interest in the form of Aston Villa, Leeds United and Sunderland. 

Leverkusen could now joining the battle for the 20-year-old and a real bidding war for Austbø could erupt at any moment. 

During the 2025 Eliteserien season, Austbø contributed a total of 6 goals and 5 assists in 27 matches.
