With one month left, Ligue 1’s clubs range from ready to rebuilding. Across Europe big-money moves, including Morgan Rogers to Chelsea for 137 million euros, have not lifted everyone at the same pace. PSG look the benchmark.

According to Le Progres, PSG’s edge is continuity. The double European champions keep Doué, Kvaratskhelia and Dembélé, adding only third keeper Alessandro Longoni and Lucas Digne for about 10 million euros. Maghnes Akliouche at 50 million euros would replace Lee Kang-in.

Priority target Yan Diomandé receded after PSG deemed the terms excessive. Gonçalo Ramos’s exit thinned depth, so options such as Ferran Torres and Charles De Ketelaere are being explored. Any Bradley Barcola sale to Liverpool would force a new left winger.

Marseille have converted loans rather than recruited in volume. Facundo Medina for 18 million euros and Timothy Weah for 14.4 million could already move on, Hamed Junior Traoré was bought then sent to Genoa, and Mason Greenwood and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have gone. Grégory Lorenzi must cut a wage bill from over 160 million euros to below 100 million before buying.

Lyon, administratively relegated then reinstated on appeal last season, appear further along. Duranville and Openda offset Endrick and Afonso Moreira leaving, with Bidstrup added. A 0-4 loss to Betis, six days before the Champions League third qualifying round against Sparta Prague, underlined work to do.

Elsewhere, Monaco stay active, Rennes and Paris FC progress, while Nice, Brest and Lorient lag, and Auxerre and Le Havre look readier.
