Lille predicted XI v Lyon: Hamza Igamane to drop to bench amid swathe of absences | OneFootball

Olivier Giroud started on the bench in midweek as Lille OSC took on Brann. However, the former France international came on to net a late winner. Against Olympique Lyonnais on Sunday, Giroud is expected to return to the starting XI at the expense of Hamza Igamane, who is set to drop to the bench.

It comes amid a swathe of absences that Bruno Genesio is being forced to contend with in the opening weeks of the season. Thomas Meunier remains sidelined and on the opposite side of the defence, Romain Perraud is also now out for Les Dogues.

Benjamin André and Alexsandro are out, the latter suffering an injury upon his return from international duty, and first-choice goalkeeper Berke Ozer is also out.
