Lionel Messi just simply doesn't slow down, and he continued his superb 2025 campaign by bagging goals 25 and 26 against Atlanta United Saturday evening.
Those goals saw Messi move into first in the MLS Golden Boot race after coming into the evening trailing high-flying LAFC forward Denis Bouanga.
But more importantly, the Argentine wizard set a stunning MLS record Saturday evening in Fort Lauderdale.
With his brace, Messi became the first player in league history to produce nine multi-goal games in a single regular season.
While Miami are still in search of MLS Cup success since pouring resources into bringing Messi and his mates to South Florida, the great man himself has had no issue ripping the league to shreds.
He still has one more game this season to extend his simply stunning goal tally! You wouldn't put it past him.
