Manchester United defender Lisandro Martínez is close to returning after another lengthy injury spell.
The Argentinian has had bad luck with injuries since joining the Red Devils from Ajax in the summer of 2022, featuring just 14 times in the 2023/24 campaign before suffering a serious injury back in February.

According to Argentinian outlet TyC Sports, a positive result from a recent scan on his left knee means that Martínez could return by the end of the month.
The 27-year-old is a fan favourite at Old Trafford and has played 91 times since joining United, scoring three times, and will be hoping he can put his injuries behind him especially with the World Cup coming up next year.
