According to Superdeporte, Alessio Lisci has named a 21-man Osasuna squad for the trip to Valencia CF at Mestalla on Sunday one March, kick-off 16:15.
The list followed the final open training session before the match. Enzo Boyomo returns to the travelling party.
Aimar is unavailable due to accumulated bookings, and Iker Benito continues his recovery from a knee injury.
Goalkeepers: S. Herrera and Aitor Fdez. Defenders: Juan Cruz, Herrando, V. Rosier, Javi Galán, Boyomo, Abel Bretones, Catena and Arguibide.
Centrocampistas: Torró, Moncayola, Iker Muñoz, Rubén García, Moi Gómez y A. Osambela. Delanteros: Raúl, Kike Barja, Budimir, Moro y Víctor M. V.
With Lisci, 40, arriving at Osasuna, Braulio Vázquez secured one of Europe’s most promising young coaches. He left a good body of work at relegated Levante UD and came close to promotion with Mirandés.
His style differs from those of Vicente Moreno, Jagoba Arrasate and Diego Martínez, and even more from Joaquín Caparrós or Enrique Martín Monreal. Yet Osasuna tend not to chase possession, averaging 44.5%, and instead lean on solid defence, crosses, set pieces and making the most of their goals.
