In an interview with Qatari media outlet Winwin, Hungarian manager Marco Rossi revealed his captain’s ultimate dream:

Rossi, however, added some nuance:

"I don’t know if he’ll be able to take that step (...) However, I absolutely do not rule out the possibility that he’ll stay at Liverpool and extend his contract, especially since he is highly valued at the club. He’s an essential player for Liverpool."
