Real Madrid star Trent Alexander-Arnold looks set to miss a whole host of high-profile fixtures over the weeks ahead.
This comes after the Englishman was condemned to an incoming spell on the sidelines.
Defender Alexander-Arnold sparked widespread concern in Spain’s capital on Tuesday night.
As much came after the summer arrival in La Liga was forced into a premature departure from Real Madrid’s Champions League season opener.
En route to a 2-1 victory over Olympique Marseille, Alexander-Arnold pulled up inside the opening minutes, before limping from the field of play.
After a round of medical tests on Wednesday morning, it was subsequently confirmed that the former Liverpool man has suffered ‘a muscle injury to the biceps femoris in his left leg.
TAA, in turn, could miss as many as eight weeks of action.
And in the case of as much, the right-back will be forced to watch on from the sidelines for a whole host of key outings.
Eight weeks from today is the 13th of November.
Between now and then, Real Madrid’s schedule is as follows:
Espanyol, Levante, Atlético Madrid, FC Kairat, Villarreal, Getafe, Juventus, Barcelona, Valencia, Liverpool and Rayo Vallecano.
