Liverpool could strike an incredible triple deal, according to reports. And with a true European giant.
Gazzetta dello Sport has reported on Juventus's situation - and it's not a pretty one. The Old Lady are struggling to qualify for Europe and it's something that could see them offload a series of players this summer.
Liverpool are one club named as potentially taking advantage. The Reds will enter the market for a winger, a midfielder and a centre-back this summer and Juventus happen to have a option for each.
There have already been links to Francisco Conceicao as a Mo Salah replacement. Then there's Khephren Thuram in the middle of midfield and Pierre Kalulu at the back.
The trio are on the shortlist at Liverpool - and it may well turn out that they're the best options for every role. Now, whether Juventus would sanction a sale of all three is questionable but this could also be the summer that they decide to shake everything up.
If they do, perhaps Liverpool can grab some good players at some good prices. And significantly fix some fundamental problems in their squad in the process.
Juventus Performance and Role
Pierre Kalulu has become a defensive pillar for Juventus during the 2025–2026 season after completing a permanent €14.3 million move from AC Milan in the summer of 2025. As of April 1, 2026, the 25-year-old versatile defender has made 41 appearances across all competitions, contributing two goals and six assists while helping the team secure 11 clean sheets in Serie A. His technical reliability is reflected in a 91% passing completion rate, and his ability to switch between centre-back and right-back has made him indispensable to manager Luciano Spalletti. Despite his strong individual form, Juventus currently sits fifth in the table, fighting a close battle with Como for a Champions League qualification spot.
Transfer Interest and Future
Kalulu’s consistency in Turin has sparked significant interest from the Premier League, with Manchester United and Liverpool reportedly sending scouts to monitor his performances. While his current contract runs until June 2029, rumours suggest he could be tempted by a higher salary in England, especially if Juventus fails to secure Champions League football. However, the club has publicly labelled him "untouchable" and is reportedly working on a contract renewal to fend off summer bids. On the international stage, Kalulu has recently broken into the France senior squad, featuring in March 2026 wins over Brazil and Colombia, placing him in a strong position to make the final roster for the 2026 World Cup.
