Joe Gomez could return to the Liverpool bench when they take on Manchester City on Sunday.
The defender has missed the last two games after going off with a knock against Bournemouth.

But Reds boss Arne Slot says he could come back into the squad for Sunday’s clash, though he will still be without fellow defender Jeremie Frimpong.
“Jeremie will definitely not train this week so he’s not available for the weekend,” Slot said.
“With Joe, we have a little bit of hope that he might train on Saturday so not available to start but maybe available to help the team if needed during the game.
“As you know, there are not that many defenders available at the moment.”
