Liverpool could be set to shake up their midfield options this summer.
We could see Curtis Jones leave for Inter Milan if the Italian champions up their bid to one that’s acceptable to the outgoing Premier League champions.
And Stefan Bajcetic’s future is now under immediate threat with Sevilla among the Spanish teams looking to acquire the services of the 21-year-old midfielder.
Any major outgoings are likely to generate a deal for a player coming in and there has been no shortage of midfielders linked with an Anfield move.
From Adam Wharton to Alex Scott Liverpool have been named as suitors for plenty of midfielders - with one more now emerging on the radar.
With Jose Mourinho installed as Real Madrid’s new head coach it looks as though the Spanish capital club will be open to offers for Eduardo Camavinga.
The Frenchman, 23, had a poor season - tumbling down the pecking order and falling out of the reckoning for France’s FIFA World Cup squad.
Now a report in Mundo Deportivo is claiming that Liverpool as well as Manchester City are keeping a close eye on Camavinga - who doesn’t currently feature in Mourinho’s plans for the season ahead.
“Real Madrid continues to look for ways to offload some of its players this summer,” the report reads.
“So far, only Ceballos has left, but there are clubs interested in several players from the Madrid squad.
“Two of them have attracted interest from Premier League teams. Those players are Camavinga, 23, and Tchouaméni, 26.
“The former's contract expires in 2029 and the latter's in 2028. Neither of them intends to leave Real Madrid, but the key difference between the two is that Real Madrid would listen to offers for Camavinga.”

Camavinga joined Real back in 2021 from Rennes and is under contract until 2029. He has won two Champions Leagues with Los Blancos - and right now doesn’t see his career at the Bernabeu as over.
“Camavinga is not, in principle, in Mourinho's plans, and the player knows it. Despite this, the midfielder has no intention of leaving Real Madrid,” the report reads.
Instead he would like to prove to the new head coach that he still has something to offer - despite Madrid signing Bernardo Silva as a rival for his position in the team.
“He hopes to turn things around during preseason. Meanwhile, Premier League teams like Manchester City and Liverpool are closely monitoring the situation with Camavinga,” the report reads.
Camavinga has been strongly linked with a Liverpool move for quite some time now. His signing - particularly at an acceptable fee - would make a lot of sense.
