Paris Saint-Germain cruised to a 4-1 win over LOSC Lille on Saturday night at the Parc des Princes, thanks to a dominant first half in which they scored all four goals.
The Parisians wasted no time, with Bradley Barcola finding the net in the sixth minute to put PSG up 1-0. Barcola had passed to Ousmane Dembele, whose curling shot was blocked by goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier. Barcola reacted quickly to finish off the rebound.
PSG wasn’t done yet. In the 22nd minute, Marquinhos headed in a cross at the far post, aided by a deflection off Chevalier’s post, to make it 2-0. Just six minutes later, Dembele struck again, finishing a perfect pass from Joao Neves with a side-footed shot past Chevalier.
The final goal came late in the first half and was perhaps the best of the night. With LOSC looking to regroup, Desire Doue blasted a powerful shot into the top corner, beating Chevalier and capping off an impressive offensive performance from PSG.

PSG made a change over the last two years, opting for a collective unit instead of relying on star players, and Lille’s Bafodé Diakité has noticed the difference. Moreover, his remarks are a warning to Liverpool on what they should expect from the Parisians.
“I think today we noticed more of a collective effort,” Diakité told DAZN (h/t Paris Fans). “It wasn’t the case in previous years. They have this desire to fight together as one. In previous years, it wasn’t really the case, and it’s not what we felt, but now it’s what we feel.”
