In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Liverpool have set their sights on Barcelona winger Roony Bardghji. It has been stated that the Reds are eyeing a move to bring the Swedish talent to Anfield this year.
Bardghji has caught the eye at times on the right side of Barca’s attack in this campaign so far. The Swedish wide player has participated in 14 matches for the Catalan outfit this season, scoring two goals and grabbing four assists in the process across various competitions.
The 20-year-old has proven his worth in the final third by averaging 4.37 shots per 90 minutes in La Liga. He has kept 66.7% of his attempts on target. Bardghji was tidy with his ball distribution after completing 77.6% of his attempted passes in the top tier of Spanish football (stats via fbref.com).
His current contract at the Nou Camp will run out in the summer of 2029. Hence, Liverpool would have to make a convincing offer if they are serious about recruiting Bardghji this year.

Bardghji is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and has got the vision to engineer some decent chances for his teammates in the final third. He can shoot the ball with power from long range and can chip in by scoring and creating a handful of important goals for his team from the wide areas.
However, there are some concerns over whether the Swedish sensation can make a smooth transition to life in the Premier League if the Reds manage to get a deal done for him this month or at the end of this campaign.
We can expect Bardghji to bring more quality and depth to Liverpool head coach Arne Slot’s attack in the long run. He is good enough to compete for a regular first-team spot at the Merseyside club in the coming years.
At 20, the future looks quite promising for Bardghji as long as he continues to improve with each season. With all things considered, Slot would be wise to try everything in his power to lure him to Anfield in this winter transfer window or next summer.
