Reds could be missing two big names for Champions League clash
Liverpool are preparing for a huge Champions League quarter-final against Paris Saint-Germain without a key man.
A new injury return timeline for Alisson Becker means the first-choice goalkeeper will miss both legs of the quarter-final, the Merseyside derby against Everton and further games in April.
There are also doubts over Alexander Isak’s availability. The striker and Arne Slot had hoped he would be ready for a run out against Manchester City in the FA Cup, but come gameday, he was a no-show.

Alexander Isak was again absent for Liverpool against Manchester City, despite Arne Slot suggesting he could play "10 minutes" of the FA Cup clash.
The striker is still working his face back to fitness after suffering a broken leg against Tottenham late last year.
"It is too soon to expect him in the starting line-up, first time training [on Thursday] after 100 days out, [so] it will take a bit of time to give him a lot of minutes," Slot said of Isak last week.
"We will make sure we do the right thing to build him up, but it is a good thing to have him on the training ground, even better to get him on the pitch."
Slot added: "I see a player much stronger, in a better place, but 100 days off the intensity of the Premier League and Champions League is difficult.
"I said many times, when he's had a proper pre-season, we can expect more for him but what we have now is already a big step forward."
Isak will now hope to play a part against Paris Saint-Germain this week.

Alisson Becker has been ruled out for a period of time, the length of which varies depending on player or head coach.
The goalkeeper missed the Champions League defeat at Galatasaray last month with an injury sustained during training, but returned in time to face Tottenham and the second-leg victory over the Turkish side.
However, another problem ruled him out of the defeat to Brighton before the international break - and Brazil's two fixtures soon after - and now faces another spell on the sidelines.
Slot on Friday confirmed Allison would miss the upcoming FA Cup quarter-final against Manchester City, and added: "He will not be part of the PSG game either, (he is) out for a bit longer. Towards the end of the season, we expect him to be fit."
He posted on X shortly after Slot’s presser, insisting he will be back before the end of the month. He wrote: “I didn't suffer a new injury. I'm in the treatment phase, and the plan is to be in full playing condition by the end of April!”
Potential return date: Man United (a) on May 3
The midfielder’s season has ended prematurely after he was stretchered off during his first Premier League start of the campaign back in February.
Having picked up a foot injury, the 33-year-old Japan international was carried off the pitch against Sunderland and is believed to be focused on targeting a return in time for this summer’s World Cup.
“Wataru will be out for a long time; we don't know exactly how long, but long,” said Slot on February 19.

Speaking on February 28, Japan manager Hajime Moriyasu revealed he had heard that surgery on Endo’s left ankle “went well, but I don’t know the details.”
Moriyasi added: “The plan is for [Endo] to be ready in time for the World Cup, so the rehabilitation process from surgery onwards is being considered.
“In order to play in the World Cup, he, the club, and we all share the same understanding.”
Potential return date: June 2026
Ruptured knee ligaments were the result of Conor Bradley’s awkward landing during January’s goalless draw against Arsenal, and the right-back subsequently underwent surgery.
The club did not place a timeline on Bradley’s return when announcing his surgery on January 11, but he has not featured since and is generally expected to miss the rest of the campaign.
Potential return date: Summer 2026
Fellow defender Giovanni Leoni suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament on his Liverpool debut in the Carabao Cup victory over Southampton back in September.
The 19-year-old Italian centre-back, a summer signing from Parma, was ruled out for approximately 12 months after undergoing surgery, meaning he will likely miss the rest of this season and possibly the start of the upcoming campaign.
