"It wasn't smart. I'd say I punished myself, so I was pretty disappointed to have to watch the lads from home last Saturday (the 1-2 defeat against Crystal Palace in the Premier League, editor's note). But like I said, I apologize to all my teammates. This kind of thing won't happen again," admitted the Frenchman.

Ekitike could return to the starting eleven this Tuesday (9pm) against Galatasaray in the Champions League.
