Whether it’s his central midfield station - or else at right-back or elsewhere - Dom has been integral to Liverpool’s hopes of getting back into the Champions League.
The only issue is that Szoboszlai’s contract expires in a little over two years - summer 2028. Therefore negotiations for a new deal are pivotal - with Richard Hughes hoping to tie the playmaker down beyond 2030.

Szoboszlai’s contract demands have been put as high as £300k per week - more than double his current reported salary. If Liverpool cannot satisfy those demands then Real Madrid will of course be waiting in the wings and ready to make an offer.
But Spanish media reports have now given Liverpool a MAJOR boost in contract talks with Szoboszlai. Given the finances involved with signing a top star like Szoboszlai Fichajes is reporting that Real Madrid currently consider the deal “unfeasible”.
