Championship Wrexham have been riding the crest of a wave over recent seasons - and their prolific form at home has been a huge factor.

The Red Dragons beat League One Reading 2-0 to progress to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night, thanks to a double from forward Nathan Broadhead - as Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson got one over on his old club.

Under Parkinson, Wrexham have clinched back-to-back promotions to climb the league ladder and the Welsh side's home record has been formidable.

Going back over the past three seasons, in fact, only two teams in 'The 92' have scored more goals on their own patch in league, FA Cup and Carabao Cup action than Wrexham.

Liverpool (132 goals) and Man City (119) are the only clubs to outscore Wrexham (117) on home soil during this timeframe, across those competitions, although Bolton have hit the same number as the Welshmen.

Another home game is next up for the Red Dragons, who host Derby County at the Racecourse Ground in the Championship's early kick-off this Saturday.
