In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Liverpool are preparing to move in for Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo. It has been stated that the Reds are showing interest in recruiting the Ghanaian wide player next year.
Semenyo has enjoyed a solid campaign at the English club as he has put in a series of impressive displays for them in the final third. The Ghanaian talent has scored six goals and picked up three assists in eight appearances for the Cherries this season in all competitions.
The 25-year-old has proved his worth as a consistent performer in the opponent’s half by averaging 2.29 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League. He has kept 50% of his attempts on target. However, Semenyo needs to be more accurate when distributing the ball in the final third after making just 67.1% of his attempted passes in the top tier of English football (stats via fbref.com).
His current contract at the Vitality Stadium will expire in the summer of 2030, which could make it tough for the Reds to sign him on a cut-price deal next year.

Semenyo has got the pace to cause a lot of headaches for his marker out in the wide areas. He has got the vision to create some inviting chances for his teammates in the final third and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.
The Ghanaian talent has added a lot of goals and assists to his game this season. He is primarily a right-sided wide player but can also play as a left-winger or act as a centre-forward if told to do so.
Semenyo would bring more firepower to Liverpool boss Arne Slot’s frontline. He is good enough to fight for regular first-team football at Anfield in the coming years.
At 25, Semenyo’s best years are ahead of him, which makes him a worthy target for the Reds to consider this January or at the end of this campaign. He would also help the Merseyside club compete for some major trophies in the future. Thus, Slot would be wise to snap him up next year.
