One Liverpool star has recently rejected a 'concrete' offer, according to reports. The deal was proposed a few weeks ago now.
There's an awful lot of business happening at Liverpool this summer. Jeremie Frimpong and Armin Pecsi have already arrived, of course.
While Trent Alexander-Arnold and Caoimhin Kelleher both left the club in the early transfer window. Two in, two out, with more to come.
Florian Wirtz is the headliner, of course. Liverpool have agreed a deal with Bayer Leverkusen to sign the player and all the formalities should be completed next week.
They likely won't stop there, either. Milos Kerkez is in line to join from Bournemouth - and there may be more incomings after that.
But there will also be sales. Darwin Nunez is expected to depart along with Federico Chiesa. They won't be the only ones, either.
One star, however, looks set to stay after rejecting a 'concrete' offer.
Florian Plettenberg claims Alisson Becker has rejected an offer from Galatasaray. The Turkish champions have long wanted the Brazilian and were said to have pushed forward on a move this summer.
In fact, the latest from Turkey suggested Alisson was ready to lower his wage demands to help a deal along. It appears that didn't work, however.
"Galatasaray are still actively searching for a top goalkeeper!" writes Plettenberg on Twitter.
"Among others, they have made a concrete enquiry for Alisson a few weeks ago. However, he declined — he is under contract with FC Liverpool until 2027."
