Liverpool ‘to keep tabs on’ RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande | OneFootball

Liverpool are showing serious interest in RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, with scouts watching the 19-year-old in Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Wolfsburg, where he scored the opener.

"It’s my father’s favorite club. It was always his dream to see me play there one day because he loves the atmosphere at Anfield Road," Diomande told Bild.

"I have a lot of respect for Liverpool, but my dream club right now is Leipzig."

Leipzig have made clear they want to keep him for another season, although holding on could prove difficult if he maintains this level.

At Liverpool, he could help fill any gap if Mohamed Salah, 33, departs this summer.

Reports suggest Leipzig could seek up to €100 million, and he has drawn interest from FC Bayern, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Arsenal.
