Liverpool to submit bid for €100m-rated PSG forward Bradley Barcola | OneFootball

As initially reported by L’Équipe, Liverpool have re-ignited their interest in Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola (22). Sacha Tavolieri understands that a bid may now be incoming.

Despite seeing his gametime reduce since the arrival of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in January, it has been expected that Barcola will remain at PSG this summer. Club sources have told L’Équipe that there is a 95% chance that the France international does remain at the Parc des Princes, with the UEFA Champions League winners even hoping to extend his current deal.

“But it isn’t 100%, so…”, added the source. There is, therefore, a chance that Barcola does depart. So what will it take? Firstly, a huge bid. PSG want more than double what the €50m that they paid Olympique Lyonnais two years ago. RMC Sport add that the player would also have to express a desire to leave.

The first requirement may soon be fulfilled. Tavolieri understands that, having intensified talks, Liverpool are now set to submit a bid. A deal won’t be done for under €100m, he added.
