Liverpool are back in Premier League action this afternoon, hosting Brighton at Anfield. Once again, the focus will be on one man: Mohamed Salah. The winger was left on Merseyside as the Reds travelled to Milan in midweek, though perhaps they could have done with his attacking impetus against a stubbornly defensive Inter side - Dominik Szoboszlai’s late penalty made the only difference midweek.

In his now infamous interview, Salah promised to ‘say goodbye’ to the Anfield faithful at this match before he heads off to AFCON, and he will be back in the side here today. Whether it will be his last match in Liverpool red, though, remains to be seen.

Of course, aside from the gossip and drama, there is also the small matter of a Premier League football match to attend to. Brighton are winless in their last two outings, but will have Kaoru Mitoma in the side for the first time since September as they look to steal some points from the reigning champions.
