Paris Saint-Germain will face Premier League leaders Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16. PSG dominated Stade Brestois with a 10-0 aggregate win in the knockout play-off round but now face a much tougher challenge.
After last Friday’s draw, Marquinhos, who played against Liverpool in the 2018 group stage, shared his thoughts on the matchup with PSG TV.
Liverpool manager Arne Slot told the club’s official website that he’s looking forward to the challenge of facing the Ligue 1 side.
PSG manager Luis Enrique also reacted to the draw, making it clear he’s ready for the task of taking on the tournament favorites.

Recently, RTL journalist Bruno Constant discussed the atmosphere surrounding Liverpool ahead of the Champions League clash. Moreover, Constant revealed that the one area in the PSG squad that those in England know will give Liverpool trouble over the 180 minutes.
“They think PSG’s midfield is the best in Europe right now, with the pressing they do, their intensity, and how they maintain it throughout the match,” Constant said (h/t Football.fr). “They’re definitely improving.
“Most importantly, they point out that PSG finally looks like a real team. […] PSG is making teams in England nervous. For Gary Lineker, who knows football well, they’re the big outsider in this Champions League.”
