London City Lionesses have completed the free signing of former England goalkeeper Mary Earps.
The 33-year-old has spent the last two years in France with Paris Saint-Germain but left the club on the expiry of her contract. Earps has now penned a two-year deal with London City marking her return to the WSL since leaving Manchester United at the end of the 2023/2024 campaign.
"I’m over the moon, I’m really looking forward to it," Earps said on her arrival at the club.
"I think the club speaks to exactly what I stand for, I can’t wait to join and get down to business. This is the first day of the next chapter.
"The club’s values represent what I want to represent, and they are passionate about what I want to achieve and change the game in a positive way. All the conversations have been really positive and every time I spoke with the club, I wanted to hear more.
"The vision and ambition, including the new training facility is incredible and I’m looking forward to seeing that develop, it shows what our owner Michele [Kang] and everyone at the club want to do in terms of really going for it. I think there is something really special here."
Last season, Earps played 27 times for PSG in all competitions in what was a disappointing campaign for the club, finishing third in the league and finishing 17th out of 18 teams in the Champions League group stage.
