West Ham United have had a miserable Premier League campaign.
The 3-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest last weekend left the Hammers just six points above the relegation zone.
Manager Julen Lopetegui is under enormous pressure after failing to implement his style of play since coming into the job at the London Stadium last summer.
According to the Guardian, West Ham will review the Spaniard’s position if they lose at home to Everton on Saturday.
If the Hammers lose against Everton, they will use the international break to line up candidates to replace him.
They have already made background checks on Sebastian Hoeness, Kasper Hjulmand and Roger Schmidt.
Lopetegui was expected to introduce an attacking brand of football and also revive the club’s fortunes. The Spaniard has failed on both counts.
West Ham must win the next match against the Merseyside outfit.
However, that will be easier said than done, as Sean Dyche’s side have the ability to be tricky opponents.
They performed well against Southampton last weekend, but a late Adam Armstrong goal ended their five-game unbeaten run in the English top flight.
